Support Page for 5 Minute Photo Version 4 Loader Software
(Updated 4/4/2007) There have been a few minor issues/problems (see list below) with the Version 4 Loader and they have been corrected and are available to all registered users of Version 4.
Images from earlier model cameras that do not support the EXIF orientation bit will error on Loading.
Rotated images in the Printing folder may be excessively large and may not be able to be opened in some applications (ie. PhotoShop) - They do open in Windows Viewer.
Images from earlier model cameras that do not support the EXIF orientation bit will fail when trying to create web images/watermark on these types of images.
Web creation utility may fail if other files other than .jpgs exist in the Original folder structure (ie. Thumbs.db that Windows creates when viewing thumbnails via Windows Explorer).
About menu option gave an error on Servers with more than 2GB RAM.
When you deselect “Copy Images to Printing Directory” and import an image that does not need to be auto-rotated the Loader would error.
Windows Vista?
We have tested Version 4 on Windows Vista Home Premium and the only known issue is that the PhotoView share on the server has to be manually given access with either the group Everyone or each user name from viewing station(s) must be manually be given access to the PhotoView shared folder. This is due to Windows Vista higher default security settings.
